Professional Rugby Player

Scott Egan

Scott Egan is a professional rugby player for Salford Reds Devils and England community Lions. As an amateur, Scott played for Hensingham.

“Playing for England against France was the highlight of my career. It took hard work and discipline to help me be the best I could be, and I have always loved being part of a team.”

“Rugby is a family and has true community spirit, supporting me through the ups and downs of my career. Recently, rugby league suffered the loss of one of its youngest England community Lions players and my best friend, who was 18. This shook the whole rugby league community and highlighted the importance of support needed for players during their careers, not only on the field but off the field as well. Rugby is a tough sport and is stereotypical around talking about feelings and worries. I can honestly say through experience how important the support and care I got literally saved me. I am so proud to be a Player Support Services Ltd ambassador. No one knows what the future holds, but I know through Players Support Services that there will always be help and support there for me both during and after my career, and I know this gives me peace of mind for my and my family’s future. I cannot recommend PSS enough for all athletes, whatever their choice of sport.”

WTA Grand Slam Coach & GB Women's National Padel Coach

Libby Fletcher

Having been a professional tennis player and now a high-performance coach, I understand the importance of supporting players and coaches throughout the whole sporting journey. This is often overlooked towards the end of the individual’s natural sporting life. This is exactly why the bespoke work that Simon and the team at PSS provide is so important, and I highly recommend their expert guidance.

The exceptional support provided by Simon and the team at PSS is vital for athletes transitioning through their sporting journey. The support and guidance from an experienced and highly motivated team can make a difference for athletes as they plan their successful futures beyond sport. This can be a tough transitional time. Simon is knowledgeable, and his open and approachable manner gives an extra layer of support for individuals looking for a planned future.

Tennis Player

Francesca Simpson

Francesca started playing tennis at the age of 6 at a summer camp at Yarm Tennis Club. She then moved to Tennis World in Middlesbrough, where she still trains today, as well as at Cultiv8 Academy in Leeds.

I have been lucky to have had some fantastic coaches on my tennis journey so far who have helped me to reach a ranking of the top 7 in 16U in Great Britain as well as individual success in winning ITF junior tournaments and Pro British Tours. My aim is to be a professional tennis player in the future, and I am delighted to be an ambassador for PSS. The range of services and the advice they offer allows me to concentrate on my tennis, safe in the knowledge that I have a fully supportive network around me.

Gymnast

Olivia Kenny

I discovered Player Support Service Ltd online when I was searching for a service to help me navigate life post-elite sport and higher education while also recovering from a long-term injury. During the initial consultation, it was evident Player Support Service was more than just a service provider; they were advocates for the well-being of athletes who understood the intricacies of unique and difficult experiences. What stood out for me was their professionalism and dedication to helping individuals on their journey, independent from the association of any sporting organization.
